This is so creepy...I thought I had broken my wrist during a fall and just not realized it at the time. It didn't hurt until a couple of days ago so I finally went to the doctor this morning. After some x-rays we found out that it is not a fracture but a benign tumor on my nerve endings in my wrist.No big deal... it's a genetic thing... it's called Neurofibromatosis... and I have an appointment for Thursday with a hand specialist. They will most likely remove it via surgery. The knot on the top is the tumor.

After a couple of c-sections, a little hand surgery will be a piece of cake! Not too likely that you'll die during an operation like that.
